Frequently Asked Questions
How should I get to the race? We strongly encourage you to take Metro. There will be road closures that start before the race and parking will be limited. The Courthouse Metro stop is right at the start/finish line.
Do you allow walkers? Walkers are allowed so long as they can complete the course by 10:15 a.m.
Do you allow refunds or transfers? We have a strict no refund policy. We do allow you to transfer your entry to another individual. Transfers need to be completed by March 12.
Are pets allowed to run? We love pets, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed to run the race.
Will there be bag drop? Yes. Four Courts will have a bag drop area.
Are strollers allowed? Unfortunately, child strollers/joggers are not allowed. If you are an athlete that uses an adaptive devices such as a wheelchair to include a push-rim, hand-cycle, and adaptive pushed chair, we encourage you to contact the race directors, so they make the necessary arrangements.
Do you allow headphones? The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, DC Road Runners encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Four Courts Four Miler.
Runner safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority for our event. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.
